Oregon Sweetgum is a prolific plant, featuring dense, sweet-smelling buds and substantial primary colas.
This photoperiodic plant is generally resistant to early season environmental stressors and is typically ready to harvest beginning in mid-October at 42°N.
Terpene-rich, with a broad, diverse collection of mono- and sesquiterpenes. An intriguing set of aromas, this cultivar combines zesty citrus and earthy pine, with gassy overtones. Oregon Sweetgum buds are dense and easy to trim mechanically or by hand.

“We’ve had a great experience with Oregon Sweetgum, Oregon Guava, and Sour Pineapple. All have unique and desirable attributes, both during the growing season and in the marketplace. Our farm team’s internal blind taste test selected two of the three for our best cultivars of 2021.” – Paul Murdoch, Horn Creek Hemp |
